EXPERIENCE:

Projection Art 

2013-2021

Projection art for The Ironing Maidens Live Shows. Filming, collecting, editing and mapping the visuals for live shows into washing lines, washing machines, sewing machines and other physical areas of their performance spaces. 


2017-2018

Projection installation for The Ironing Maidens. Berlin Performance Art Festival 2017, Art State Lismore 2018. The visuals further communicate the main messaging for The Ironing Maidens Project and have  developed into their own work, as stand alone projection pieces, installations and performance art.

2016

VVR - Virtually virtual reality. Group show for Ballinale Art Festival NSW. Installation space encompassing sculpture, moving mechanical art, projections and sound design for an immersive space. Produced and managed projections and co-ordinated install.

2015

Produce visuals for mememe productions dirtgirlworld musical Sydney Opera House. Visuals mapped to set.

2012

Produce filmed transition vignettes and projected visuals for 60 minute cabaret show - Our Regional Centre - performed Lismore NSW and Adelaide Feast Festival Season 2012.

Production Design: Pop Up Party People Pilot - mememe productions.

Wrote and Directed Commercial for New App - School Stream with Byron Film.

2015

Produce Visuals for mememe productions dirtgirlworld musical Sydney Opera House.

ARTS PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

2013- 2020. Project Manager and co-creative for Shiny Shiny Productions. 

Roles include: Bookings, applications, communications, grant writing, tour logistics, trainee management, training, social media management and marketing. Content development and creative development of projects. 

2020-2021. Secured funding from Arts QLD and Regional Art Fund for digital adaptation project that employed and trained 4 other artists to work cameras and hardware on a live streaming project highlighting 6 other Cairns based musicians. Employed 5 other artists and worked with a professional mentor to produce a narrative based podcast pilot. Produced a music film clip employing and training 2 other artists in camera work. Released 3 digital singles.

2019: Secured funding from Arts Queensland, RADF and Adelaide Artist Support Grant for the creative development and presentation of new work “A Soap Opera”. Employed 7 other artists and provided one traineeship position in stage management for Adelaide Fringe Festival Season. 

2018: 2010:Secured funding from Arts Qld, Create NSW and Australia Council for touring programs. Successfully managed tours and festival season performances. Employed and trained two traineeship positions in live sound and touring for QLD Tour. Employed and trained 4 other artists in tour management for NSW Tour. 

2015- 2019

Project manager for mememe productions- ABC show, dirtgirlworld, Get Grubby TV. Coordinate logistics for campaign activities. Create content and manage online social media campaigns. Build website platforms. Produce Live streams from events such as ARIA awards with dirtgirl and Costa Georgiadis.

2016

Produce online content to promote new Arts Festival “Ballinale”. Create and implement social media content and marketing strategy.

2012

Co-producer - Our Regional Centre. Direct live cabaret show with a narrative based on the creative and musical life of artists living in a regional area. 10 performers and crew. Performed Adelaide Feast Festival Season.

2015

Touring Logistics Manager and band member. The Book club Boutique Soho London - Salena Godden. Organise logistics for a revolving roster of poets and musicians over a 14 festival tour within England. 

 

COMMUNITY AND CULTURAL PROJECTS MANAGEMENT:

2007- 2008

Project Officer -Stylin Up Regional - Indigenous Hip Hop Music Program. Provide logistical coordination, organization and administrative support to program.

2002- 2004

Project manager for literacy training program and women’s development. UNICEF East Timor

Project manager for women’s research project focussed on traditional arts and industry. OXFAM East Timor

Project manager for women’s NGO Murak Rai - Australian Volunteers International. East Timor.
