Mentoring

Online, one-on-one mentoring sessions for artists, creatives and producers who want practical support to move their ideas forward. Whether you’re developing a new project concept, writing a grant application, planning a tour or exhibition, or figuring out how to get your work into galleries, festivals and creative programs, I can help you shape a clear pathway. With over 20 years’ experience across independent practice, producing, regional arts development and major projects, I offer friendly, honest and tailored guidance that meets you where you’re at. Sessions are supportive, down-to-earth and focused on helping you build confidence, strengthen your ideas, and take the next steps in your creative career.

Workshops

Melania and Patty are passionate about skill sharing and have extensive experience and qualifications in teaching, workshop facilitation and mentoring on a variety of Arts Projects. They run creative workshops in Electronic Music Production with Ableton Live, Songwriting, Projection Art and Mapping for individuals and small groups.

Melania also runs workshops in arts business topics such as writing your artist bio, setting up your artist website and socials, grant writing and arts project management. Melania has facilitated the Artist Connect Proffessional Development Program through NorthSite Contemporary Arts, workshops for Flying Arts, Councils and has recently been the Far North QLD Regional Arts Services Network Officer providing artist support during 2026.

Melania is currently running a 6 week online workshop series in grant writing and professional development for First Nations Fashion Designers - Grace Lillian Lee and Mareeba Regional Council.
