Melania and Patty are passionate about skill sharing and have extensive experience and qualifications in teaching, workshop facilitation and mentoring on a variety of Arts Projects. They run workshops in Electronic Music Productions, DJ-ing, Songwriting and composition, Stage Craft, Projection art and mapping. Patty is an Ableton Live Certified Trainer.

MENTORING
Working in the creative industries can be challenging and sometimes it feels like you are slogging it out on your own. Sometimes we just need a bit of support, advice and encouragement to get through to a new phase, start a new project and turn a corner with our arts practice.
Melania can provide you with mentoring in your creative practice in the following ways.
(All sessions include a follow up email and support with templates and resources appropriate to your needs so that you can move forward).
1 hour chat and plan session $150
This is a one on one coaching session where we can work together on your action plan, brainstorm a new project or get advice on sharing your project with the world. Whatever you need.
4 mentoring meetings $500
Over 4 weeks, 1 hour meetings.
This is a series of sessions that support you to create a strategy, experience and be accountable for your own progress and be on your way to creative fulfilment.
Week 1: Brainstorming the big picture and dreaming up the project(s)
Week 2 : Goal setting, action plan and priorities
Week 3: Setting up your infrastructure and practice
Week 4: Sharing your work with the world
After each session you will have homework to do in between. Each session will start with a recap on what you have achieved through the week. Together we will get your art ready for sharing with the world. Great for those who like to spend more time setting things up in between sessions. To make the most of this series, book all the sessions at once and commit to a month that is all about you and your creative practice.
Workshop half day $400
In this workshop you will cruise through all of your brainstorming and planning so that you can fast track through to your strategy. Great for those who already have a strong idea about their project and want to bounce straight into action. 3 hours with a break.
Workshop Full Day $800
This full day workshop takes you through brainstorming, planning, your action plan and right through to your ‘sharing with the world’ strategy. At the end of this workshop you should feel like you are ready to launch off into your project. It will provide you with the groundwork so that you can get back to creating your art and seeing it bloom in the world. Great for the creative who is eager to start their project right now. 6 hours with breaks.
Build your own website workshop $800
In this workshop you will learn to build your own website using the squarespace (or another) website builder. In the week before the workshop you will be provided with some template homework prior to the workshop and email support to gather the copy and content. After this workshop you will have a brand new website ready to share with the world. You will be able to independently manage and continue to update this website throughout your artist career. 6 hours with breaks
Share your work with the world workshop $400
Spend the day building brainstorming and designing a way to share your work with the world that suits your practice. This can include social media campaigns, email campaigns, how to create content around your work and any other appropriate elements. It focuses on making this a creative and engaging process for you and your audience. 3 hours with breaks.
Your Faciliator
Melania has been facilitating creative workshops and mentoring sessions for artists and creatives for over 15 years. She has worked within large community projects such as Stylin Up Regional and Music Outback as well as mentoring for individual artists. In 2020 she managed the Q Music, Women in Music program mentoring 12 young emerging arts workers over 6 months. She has a passion for community education in the arts and is an advocate for regional artists.
